I took part in " Taipei Art Photo 2018 "

held on November 9th to 12th, 2018
My purpose for joining TAP 2018 is to build a cultural bridge between Japan and Taiwan through the art photo.
This time I made a good collaboration with Kuangyin Gelatin Silver Lab, a photo studio in Taipei on making artworks and exhibited them in TAP. I really thanked for their support during the exhibition.
As for the ambrotype photo, they adopted the latest technique to make a wet plate negative. First they printed the digital image with the inkjet ink, and made 8 x 10 sized wet plate photography.
And A huge Gelatin Silver print by Mr. Tsen, who knows a lot about the classical technique of photography. (photo by Yoshida) Visitors were surprised at how high the resolution of the photograph was. He made the big size vacuum system to print.
I showed the short movie of my artworks of ambrotype photo of big trees. I also showed the solo exhibition in abroad and the international photo festival in the movie.
I am glad the most was many visitors listened attentively to my concept for the artworks. I am happy to accomplish the purpose of making a cultural bridge through artworks.
